Google Credentials Set-up

Goal

Set up Google OAuth credentials in Google Cloud and connect them to n8n so you can use:

  • Google Drive
  • Gmail
  • Google Docs
  • Other Google products

Part 1 – Start from n8n (Google Drive node)

  1. In your n8n workflow, add or select a Google Drive node.
  2. In the node, go to the “Credential to connect with” field.
  3. Click “Create New Credential”.
  4. In the credential window, click “Open Docs”.
    • This will open the n8n documentation in a new tab.
  5. In the n8n docs page, scroll down and click “Google Cloud”.
  6. On the Google Cloud section, click “Console” to open the Google Cloud Console.

You’ll now set things up inside Google Cloud.
